Sometimes, but every restart lowers the chances. Clicking indicates a mechanical fault — disconnect the power and do not try to run it again until we have looked at it.
Will you see my files?
We work with the drive, not with your content, and we never publish file names or data. If you have specific confidentiality requirements, tell us when you hand the drive over.
